Attendance and Punctuality

At St Werburgh’s Catholic Primary School, we believe that good attendance at school is of the greatest importance in securing the best possible outcomes for children, and as such, we take pupil's attendance very seriously.

Detailed information on the school's approaches to securing good attendance can be found in our Attendance Policy in the "Policies" section of this website.

Punctuality is important at St Werburgh’s Catholic Primary. School begins at 8.45am.  School doors are closed at 8.50am and any child arriving after this time will be marked as late.

If your child is ill or has an appointment please phone the school office before 9.30am.
