At St Werburgh’s Catholic Primary School we are committed to providing all pupils with the skills, knowledge and ambition to succeed in life and be global disciples of Christ.
Our curriculum is rooted in the teachings of the Gospel. We pride ourselves on our inclusivity and respect for all, celebrating diversity and promoting an awareness and understanding of our shared and different cultural heritage.
Our curriculum promotes self-worth, moral purpose and integrity. It teaches pupils the importance of making the right choices to keep themselves and others safe, happy and healthy. Our pupils understand that their actions have an impact on their community and the world around them; they know the importance of being a responsible citizen.
Our empowering curriculum nurtures curiosity and develops problem solving skills and resilience. It is rich in experience, communication and opportunity - promoting academic excellence and a love of learning and so instils high aspirations for life.
